Know what to pay your babysitter.

Coming soonNot yet released in app stores

SitterRate: Babysitter Pay is in development and has not been released yet. Its website and store listing will be linked here as soon as they are live.

Overview

SitterRate is an iPhone app for families who pay a babysitter or nanny. It shows published U.S. babysitting rate benchmarks with their sources, calculates exactly what you owe for a session, and keeps a simple record of what you've paid.

A session accounts for start and end times, the hourly rate, extra children, bonuses, reimbursed expenses and an optional tip, and any rounding or minimum hours are always shown rather than applied silently. Overnight sessions, nanny pay estimates and a live session timer are part of SitterRate Pro, a one-time purchase.

Who it’s for
Parents and families who hire babysitters or nannies.
The problem it solves
It's hard to know what a fair babysitting rate is, and a total that involves a late finish, a tip, an extra child or reimbursed expenses is easy to get wrong at the door.
